The mission of God of a Second Chance is to demonstrate that a crisis can affect anyone including those who appear to have it all together. The characters and the circumstances were written to show the Body of Christ that even in a crisis, Romans 8:28 is true; all things work together for the good of them who love the Lord and who are the called according to His purpose. As God shows his love toward this family, the audience should find hope in knowing that the same God is available to restore the broken areas in their lives.
God of a Second Chance is a God-inspired production depicting a suburban Christian family who lived a comfortable lifestyle in a middle class community. The comfort of their world is disrupted when the husband becomes unemployed and the financial strain begins to tear away at the foundation of their marriage. While the wife is initially supportive and picks up the slack by taking on additional work, her demeanor changes after her close friend begins to give her some savory advice. Unfortunately, that advice leads her to an extra marital affair and brings both hurt and betrayal to the family that is already facing a crisis. To add to that fragile situation, two children who are not only witnessing their world unraveling, but they decide to seek solutions in all the wrong places.
In the end, it is a series of circumstances that leads each character to the realization that God loves them enough to look beyond their faults and see their needs. As He orchestrates their redemption, they experience His unmistakable love and realize that He is a God of a Second Chance.
